Interlibrary loan for readers
Readers of Tallinn Central Library can order literature that is not available in the libraries of Tallinn from other libraries in Estonia. Before ordering please check the availability from the Online Catalogue ESTER.

The loan period for the materials is determined by the lending library and usually varies from two to four weeks. Interlibrary loans are not renewable. The loaned material will only be available for use at the Tallinn Central Library and cannot be taken home by the patron. However, the reader may keep copies of articles. Tallinn Central Library cannot guarantee that the materials will arrive in time to meet deadlines.

Interlibrary loan for libraries
The interlibrary lending allows libraries in Estonia to obtain material not available in their collection to their readers from Tallinn Central Library. To submit your request fill out the interlibrary loan form for libraries.

Ordered material will be sent out in 3 to 5 days. Tallinn Central Library cannot guarantee that materials will arrive in time to meet deadlines. Materials ordered by using the interlibrary lending service can only be used in the library in a 30-day period. The reader can keep the copies of the articles.
